Oswaldtwistle Mills makes a successful debut at Ossyfest 2025

Oswaldtwistle Mills celebrated a fantastic first year as an official venue at Ossyfest 2025, the much-loved local music festival that raises vital funds for charity – to provide free music lessons for local children.

On Saturday 9th August, Angelica’s Tearoom inside Oswaldtwistle Mills was transformed into a vibrant live music venue for the afternoon, drawing festivalgoers in for an afternoon of brilliant performances, great food, and a welcoming community atmosphere.

The event added a new dimension to Ossyfest, Oswaldtwistle’s free-entry, family-friendly summer celebration, which spans multiple venues across the town. Once again, the festival brought together local talent, businesses, and residents for a weekend of music, fun, and fundraising – all to support free music lessons for children.

“We had an amazing day,” said Nick Pitman, Managing Director of Oswaldtwistle Mills. “It was wonderful to see so many people enjoying themselves and supporting local talent. Being part of Ossyfest for the first time has been a real highlight for us, and we’re proud to contribute to something that makes such a difference to the community.

“We’re looking forward now to our next music event on 30th August, with a main stage outside in our grounds for our annual Scouts Family Fun Day. We hope to see a good crowd there too!”
